make a custom dock...... for example where your radio is........ turn it into a pop in pop out mechanism! Just make sure you've bought the radio app for the ipad!

I use this for my desirehd and it works well (if clingo is clean and is phone pressed firmly on), not sure it would cope with a ipad though and prolly get pulled for blocking your windscreen .

Then i would suggest maybe stealth mounting it then mate , maybe under the seat or under the dash somewhere?

I think there are a few options for mounting ipad/ipad2 on the back of a headrest, for the kiddies to watch cartoons on longer journeys - I'm pretty sure Griffin makes just such a harness, for instance.

Maybe try Brodit for a proper mount for the front? If anyone makes one, I'm sure Brodit will have one. But I'm struggling to think how it would work in practice though... surely you'll either block the windscreen, climate controls, radio or get in the way of the gearstick? It's just too big to mount it without interfering with something. And any kind of permanent mount on the passenger side would be a no-no because of the airbag.

I would just get your passenger to hold it if they want to watch it.

Well yeah I have a few ideas I will try, if not I'm looking for a double dinn headunit so that cud do the job

tbh go for a double din with ipod lead , dunno if you can plug an ipad into it , but then the ipad could be stashed some where out of sight and the screen in the dash would do the job

i paid 300 from a dealer second hand , ebay is def worth a go as a is new quite a bit more

be aware the kenwoods are fussy regarding ipod connection , you need to upgrade the software in them for the ipod to play , took me 4 goes to sort it
