Anybody know if it is possible to use your iphones phone functionality via bluetooth within the car whilst also having it hooked up to the ipod connector and listening to your music at the same time?

bump..

nobody with an iphone has a leon with bluetooth and ipod connector? C'mon!

I'm not sure if the Ipod connector works with the Iphone. I don't think it works with the Ipod Touch and they are almost identical.

Can you connect your iphone to a PC via what i'd call a normal ipod > usb cable?

If you can, and while it's connected, can you make calls on it?

I think there is a thread on this somewhere somebody tried the iPod touch but I can't remember the outcome. Worth doing a search.

I do know that the iPod connector apparently swicthes off the iPod controls when its connected, which might make a difference.

You could always go to the dealers and try it. Both the iPod and Bluetooth are common options.

the ipod connector doesn't use bluetooth does it? so the two features shouldn't interfere with each other, i use my iphone to make calls and its hooked to the aux port as-well for some music and its all gravy

H8T WP..

So you have used your iphone for music AND calls at the same time in your car??

I will have next week :p

When I connect my iphone to stereos at home, unless I switch to airplane mode I get awful interference. I was going to buy a separate nano that I could just leave in the car.....

you just need to use the handsfree / headphone set that comes with the phone. Unplug the headphones and replace with a male to male headphone lead. Which you should be able to buy from any decent electronics store

something like...
