ipod to usb ?

hey i have an ipod connector in my 08 cupra, its under my seat..


I dont actually own an ipod...and not keen to go out and purchase one either. I do however have a pocket pc, that acts as, among loads of things, a media storage device and can be plugged into most things via mini usb.

is there a way to connect other things through the ipod connector? like a usb to ipod connection? so id connect my pocket pc to a minio usb cable, the usb cable would then have to have an ipod connection on the other side to slip into the adaptor under my seat?

Probly alot easier to just go buy an ipod.... but i thought id ask?

Its a straight swap Ipod adpator for a USB adaptor. I don't think the Ipod cable to USB route would work as there are electonics to interface with the Ipod.
