I ended up filling up before the trip I had planned as we had done a few miles more.

Worked out at 39 mpg actual compared to 41 mpg on the computer - so yes the computer appears to over-read even more since Bluefin ... but fuel economy is definitely better too ... I reckon however that it will take about 28500 miles at current prices to pay for itself!

I've owned my ST 143 Sport Tech for nearly a year and never really deviated much from 48mpg. Thats with a 35 mile round trip commute every day and a good mix of roads.

I don't tend to sit in much traffic though, due to a reasonably early start.

It's easy to alter the computer to up the mpg on the dash... I wouldn't be surprised if some tuners tweak the dash to up the claimed mpg a smidge...

Been to work today in the wife's, a and B road plus a few miles at 70mph 35 miles there I did 50mpg and coming home sat mostly at 40 - 50 I did 61mpg! The CR engine is very sensitive a smidge more throttle and the mpg nose dives! I'm in the wife's car all week so I will see what I get for a average week, if I can keep it over 50mpg ill be happy as its a 170st so not exactly the economy model!

Put this in another thread, but here's the figures again for mine.
When new getting 48-53mpg. 15k miles now up to 58mpg. running in? Getting used to driving this car economically? ECU has a "run in" phase programmed?
I forgot to mention in the other thread I put the full load tyre pressures in, no doubt this will have helped too.
Anyone wanting to improve your mpg, put the computer on instantaneous mpg and teach yourself to drive more frugally. (but don't smah in to the back of anyone)
