Is the K&N air filter worth it?

Hey there,

I have a 1.6 Seat Leon Mk2 and I was wondering if installed the K&N air filter is even worth it? Does it really improve air intake as well as car's sound? I love the sound of the Leon but improving it a little wouldn't hurt.

To be honest no it would not make any diffrance

An improved panel filter does have it's advantages, not particularly noticeable in terms of sound or power, but I do find it improves throttle response.

Yes! You won't feel it but it will increase power and torque! There have been test and of course it varies car to car but typically a good panel filter can increase anything from 4-10bhp And for the money IMO panel air filter is the way to go!
