Nope, Android. I have a HTC Desire, Torque is ONLY available for droid : http://ian-hawkins.com/ (scroll down a little)

iPhone has it's own app called 'REV', it's pretty awesome : http://www.devtoaster.com/products/rev/

Both use the OBD2 Bluetooth wireless scanners that support the ELM 327 : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320584336502

This should make more sense now

Don't know much about the Nokia (Symbian) variants of OBD2 applications, but I suppose they do the same thing, might need a beefy new Nokia to get the most out of them though

Not bad for £20 like the voltage feature was a recommendation on my Liquid Gauge for the next update to the developer.

Sorely tempted, but away in a few weeks, would only be a toy as i got vag com and LG, boys and their ttoys eh lol

That's a OBD2 diagnostic cable mate, That will only work with OBD2 PC e.g VAG.COM / ScanTool software NOT phone software.

OK... aint the bluetooth one an OBD2 diagnostic thing as well, just outputting over BT rather than down a USB cable??

Not disputing what youre saying, just dont know the differences!

No i know this, but the OBD diag software is for windows.....

Well, technically the application on the phone is also diagnostic software as I believe that you can look/clear DTCs as well. The BT dongle seems to be provided with a driver disc, so it may be possible to use this with Windows based diagnostic software (ie. VAG COM) but couldnt say for certain without trying. The USB cables themselves are hit and miss with some people, so this would be even more so...

so is there any software I can download that will work on my nokia X6?
i dont know what operating system it uses.
Cheers

edit, found out its symbian , downloaded obdscope
