Hi all, this is my first post on this forum, i'll do a proper introduction soon.

Im looking at getting a Seat Leon Cupra K1.

Ive come from having an Evo which was a second car, to needing something that can be used daily, with a good boot (child on the way) that is still exciting enough, but also that looks good. The K1 is the only car i can see that fits the bill...Ive considered the usuals, eg:

Meg R26 F1 230
VXR
Focus ST
Golf Gti

all of which are dull in various ways (bar the R26 but just not keen on the styling), the seat however ticks all the boxes...

Luckily ive found a K1 at a local dealer to my work place.

What i want to know is, is this a good deal:

58 plate
Silver (luna grey is it?)
15,000 miles
1 owner
12months Tax
pretty much immaculate
Fresh service prior to sale
Full tank of fuel
Top up to 1yrs warranty
new matts inside
fresh valet

£14800 (no Hire purchase payment, full payment up front)

No PX in that sale either.

From a Lister Seat dealership.

Spec wise, it doesnt have the optional Bi-Xenons or the black/white 18's but it does have the std 18" wheels in silver.

List price is £14995 with non of the above extras included.

Everything else i think is standard equipment on them, am i right?

Do they come with Air con as standard?
What other options should i check for?

Im gonna make the call tomorrow to do the deal or not, they want to sell it to me tomorrow for their yearly sales figs (End of the financial year) so i still think there is another £100 to come off that price!

Worth a deal or not?

Cheers

Sean

Being the end of the month, they probably will come down a fair bit on that price.

I would say over priced, find one that has at least some options. I brought one at the weekend with all extras but no satnav 1owner 58 plate under 30k on the clock and got it for 14k after a bit of a negotiation.
Only downfall was it was 300 mile round trip. Don't rush into it, look around.

Snap mate, I also have an Evo (Evo 8 with forged engine, fp green, s1 cams, hydra ems, hks twin plate, 760cc injectors, Hks coilovers etc), ) as a 2nd car, but fed up with runnin 2 cars.
Picking our Leon K1 up friday afternoon to use as daily drive :)
We paying £14,450 for one with 23k on the clock if that helps you with the guide price....

nice, what spec has it got?

I would go for a 5 door GTI over the Leon any day

I would agree on a lowered R20 but I See several Gti mk6 driving around each day and every time I see one can't stop thinking how boring these look.......

couldn't agree more....Golf's are reps cars now, lost their excitement for me....Would Much Have A Cupra/Curpa R over an R32 etc.....the Leon just looks so much more exciting

They may well look boring, but the build quality & finish is a higher than Seat.

The Leon? Pretty much standard mate, in black, Revo stage 1 remap, otherwise stock. Just the usual Climate controll and trip computer, no built in sat nav unfortunately so will need to change the horrible standard stereo, plus don't like the ride height and silver wheels so they will be getting sorted sharpish :)
