Is this correct? (Newbie questions)

Hi,
I'm talking with my dealer about rims for winter tyres as a part of ordereing a 290.

They say that it's possible to fit 17" rims since the car they have in stock lack the Dynamics package.

Asked; What is the dynamics package?
- It's the DDC.

Here I felt lost.
Well, Isn't that standard?
Do you guys know what are the minimum size of rims to put on it?

The 290s have dcc as standard, and I think it's only 18s you can go down to unless you have a motorsport themed 17 that have good clearance/design on the back of the wheel

my 184 FR has the larger brakes, and they normally have 18s, but I got them switched to "Performance" 17s for a more comfortable ride.
I bought a set of used "Dynamic" 17s for winter tyres and they also fit ok. Could well depend if your brakes are bigger than the FR. Can the dealer try a wheel when the car arrives?

The Cupra has 345mm front brakes as standard whereas the FR 184 has 312mm I think.
