not being funny but your better off breaking it.
how much is a mot £50 thats after you get the wing and brakes sorted if nothing else needs doing aswell !
i wouldnt throw anymore money at it if i was you
just take a loss and out it as spares or repair on ebay £300 or best offer or find someone with a garage and break it for spares

nah,id much rather see a car saved than broken for spares but sometimes it makes more sense.
if you do break it at least you can sleep at night knowing your car has saved the lives of many others

I bougt mine for £185. as a cat C .... cost me £25 for a new tailgate, and just my own time etc to do the necessary bodywork.. under £40 for a VIc test then mot'd and back on the road..so really its a mugs game, if you can find one thats willing to pay £800, break his arms off and hit him with the soggy ends, other than that, break it.. its about the only way you'll get reasonable money for it unfortunately (and this is from someone thats saved 2 mk2's from imminant death)
:(

good luck in what ever you decide
:)

If I do break it I will need to find somewhere to store it first. I can get a full respray for £150 + paint as I was chatting to a mate today who said his girlfriend's Dad owns a body shop. He also knows a Seat mechanic who does private work, so may get him to have a look over the car. So, I may be saving the Copper Cupra for a second time! Just depends if I can find someone who'd pay £1000+ for it to justify the money spent finishing it (again).

If I break it I will post a list of who wants what from this thread - should find out in the next 48 hours.

lcjay - they're Cordoboa SX seats aka GTi and have little pocket bits on one side (plastic trim) - so say SX not GTi. Would sell as a whole set too I'm afraid.

AlpineWhite - what's the courier charge on an empty jiffy bag these days mate? ;) Afraid I never had any :(

If the car is broken/breaked you will have to fight it out with Grayboy as he may be after the exhaust :)

Well the plan will be I strip the car for all the little bit's I need i.e. trim panels etc then the rest will be up for grabs except the rear beam, all mech parts will be available!!

Well if I do get it I probably will have the exhaust if it's suitable for a 16V, and my powerflow system will be up for grabs with a letterbox outlet!

My mates boss is on hols till the weekend so wont know till then unfortunately!
