Hi all, first post so lets hope I give you enough info!
For some reason, my remote locking stopped working, and I can't figure out how to get it working again! I think I possibly have accidentally re-programmed the key to nothing, or the receiver in the car itself has stopped working.
I have tried the reprogramming technique I found on this forum which went something like:
EVerything goes to plan until the last point where the car simply does nothing after the key light has finished flashing.
I'm pretty sure it was not the batteries in the key as they still came on as normal and I tried all re-programming techniques I could find online before AND after replacing them, to no avail.
Notably, another symptom of the remote locking not working is that now when I remove the key, the radio does not automatically turn off, whereas before it used to.
Is there another re-programme technique I should be doing? Or has something gone wrong with the car? I find the radio no longer turning off with key removal to point towards some sort of receiver issue in the car....

- Insert Key in ignition, turn until dash lights come on
- Remove Key after 3 seconds
- Hold down a button on the key and press the other three times
- Light on key should flash 5 times
- Car should then un/lock itself
