There is only one problem with his story, there aren't any roundabouts on the A34. Its now a straight road between the M3 and M40. The roundabouts went about 2 years ago.

lmao, madmile you might be right.
i bet you have some fun in that :D

Being a recent Dad and getting on in years has made me face some facts.

1. I cant afford a dring ban. (again twice)
2. I get a little nervous above a certain speed and i dont like it anymore.
3. Luckily a finned St focus can be left without much effort before the magic 100mph point.

Its not as much fun as it used to be but i am very selective these days it has to have been a very slow month for me to entertain shite like a finned focus ST. LOL.

Im gona slap em with me burberry cap! Ha Ha
There still a nice car, just far too many of the around, i see at least 4 a day on tghe way to work. Ow and there almost level pegging when it comes to performance. Stock ones get killed by the LCR and chipped ones only jsut afde away. There is however far more mods out there for them than us so it wont be long before there all uber quick. (this is all through experience by the way as my mate has one and i wanted one but could justify the extra cost for the same car just 2.5ltr and leather, plus it had some major down sides for tall drivers)

So whos the eloquent writer from on here who posted there-very poetic and flowery heh heh
Agreed that theres a lot of them about too, usually see at least 2 a day,and never see that many cupras about-going to Donnie the other week down the m6 think I only saw maybe a dozen the whole trip-does that count as exclusivity?

i like them too they are nice cars and quick i still prefer the RS it is more rare and raw if you know what i mean, was a bit of a harsh statement making us seem like chavs but hey its car forum banter i still would choose a lcr over a st any day

i love the rs focus, the new st will only end up like the st170 did, had one of those, they devalude loads too, and theres less st170's than st's

Could'nt be asked to have a ST, but an RS quite posibly, only downside is I have read that its so damn twitchy on the road! And I dont do trackdaying

even standard ones arent that slow. I have two friends that each have one and my chipped lcr doesnt pull much of them. Run on super unleaded they actually make about 250bhp. Far less lag... peak torque at 1600rpm... low down it will pull away from my lcr.

same sized turbo. means it'll hit peak torque earlier, meet peak power earlier too.

THe turbo will throttle both.
