I picked up my Leon Fr facelift from the dealers on Wednesday don't know if it was the excitement or the fact I've been waiting 15 weeks for it that stopped me noticing but the car was fitted with 18" Ibera? alloys when I had opted for the 17" standard alloys as I couldnt stretch to anymore options.

On the Invoice it includes them but then deducts them from the bill as a "new car sales discount"

Anyway I had call from the dealers saying that the 18" alloys were supposed to be taken off when they received the car and the standard wheels then fitted. The sales rep is going to have a word with his manager on tuesday after which I will find out if they want them back or not( I think they Will don't you?)

I know possession is nine tenths of the law and i really do like the 18" wheels what do you think I can or should do?

I dont think you have any "rights" to say that you want to keep them.... after all if your payed too much money by a company or organisation no matter whether its owed, by rights they can ask for, and take it back...

just keep your fingers crossed i would say!

Yeah, once the deal is done, and you have the invoice, i dont think they can turn round and take them off you!

haha yea, if they do want them back go find some kerbs to scrape....

I don't think they'll ask for them back anyway.

Good luck though.

I will keep you posted and when I get to give it a proper drive I will post my thoughts about the car itself. Picked it up wednesday had the flu ever since so my driving has been limited. First impressions are very good!

They're is no way they can take them. The car is yours and is registered to you. You have completed the sale and left the garage. Its their loss!!

I'm sure They would have to now get you to sign a form letting them do work on the car.... and also remove the wheels. Like the form you sign when you get a service etc. It basically says your allowing them to do work.
