Jack

I bought my new Born from the dealer a couple on months ago. Unfortunately, I got a flat tyre the other day, and went to get the jack and wrench to take the wheel off. The 'Readme' lists a jack as an item, but the dealer has implied that it is not included with the Born.

I would like to know from other members if the jack/wrench toolkit should have been included with this new vehicle, before I get into a dispute.

Usually if a car has a spare wheel then a jack & wheel nut wrench also supplied. If no spare wheel, then no.

Does it have the compressor & sealant kit. I thought all CUPRAs came with the spare wheel, jack etc as mine did.

yes it does come with the compressor/sealant. Its just doesn't have the jack and wrench. Its a v1 Born if that makes any difference (compared to v2/v3).

Page 13 of the brochure mentions a tool kit (it doesn’t state what’s in the toolkit though), but no mention of a space saver wheel/tyre, and under the ‘wheels and tyres‘ options on page 20, a space saver option isn’t listed. So assuming the brochure content is accurate, it would seem the Cupra Born doesn’t get a space saver spare. Link to brochure below;

@cardriver - is there a space under the boot floor to accommodate a space saver spare? If not, then that would seem to confirm the Cupra Born doesn’t get one, but gets a compressor and sealant kit instead.

Well that's that then, if its got that you wont get a spare, jack etc.
