Well thought I would make a thread for my cupra! First off, hi!! Im jake. Previously owned a few cars, mostly french 
with this being the last...
I decided it was maybe time to get something a little more worthy, plus with my change of job I needed something bigger, and better on the juice.
sooo this happened....i've had my leon since January. It's a 150 tdi, had 80k on it with full dealer service history, and just had the cambelt done. After a 320 mile round trip I was finally the proud owner of my cupra!
How it was when i got it....
That second one was took whilst waiting for recovery after the sump was i little bit cracked![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
. so new sump was done pronto , serviced it whilst I was at it...
it stayed like this for a while, when the clutch started slipping. It had to be at the beginning of my two week stint of doing 130 miles a day for work! gah! Anyway, I decided it would be a good opportunity to upgrade, so I went sachs, along with new DMF and slave cylinder at the same time.
Next up was some lows, but not too much due to the sump on these tdi's sitting low, and was crapping it about cracking another sump! no problems so far!
SO 40mm drop....
next my rubber was pretty low so I picked up a set on tt ronals, with great tyres for cheap, so on they went...
I've never really been too happy with them as they arent the look i want, so been on the hunt for something different. got to the point where i dont want to get a really decent set at this time of year though, so got a temporary set for winter...
they will do for now!
plans now are...
Coilovers to uprate from my shocks and springs
maybe a shallow sump??
poly bush mounts
s3 arb front and rear
wheels - cupra r's or bbs CH (on the hunt) by the summer.
Turbo back exhaust system.
remap
for now, thats it, but the list will probably change, well, grow haha.
