Hi Everyone,

First of all some nice pics of people's cars on here

My car is due for a service this month, currently got 45,000 miles on clock, will the water pump & cam belt get changed this service? and whats the likely cost of this if it does? (think the brake & clutch fluid get changed too??)

Also any little mods worth doing?

I've already done a few small things:

CD Changer
Arm Rest
Gear Knob
Door Sills
Side indecators changed
Rear Lights changed for L.E.D (already on when i bought the car)

Only looking for small things at moment till I get abit more money saved up (also depends how much this service is going to cost!!)

Was thinking:

Tinted windows (not sure on what darkness to get certain windows done)
Change ariel for something smaller?? Any suggestions on this?
Rear wiper conversion
Change bulbs for something brighter?? Got no idea what bulbs to get on this as its all confusing!! :D
Strut brace under bonnet?? (think its called that? anyone recommend one?)

The bigger upgrades i was later thinking of was:

New front & rear bumper including side skirts (looking for that Cupra look with diesel power/economy!)
Re-map engine (worried about the clutch with this one though??)
Leater seats - got qouted £420 for front & rear leather seats by a breakers yard but dont have that right now

Cheers :D

I do about 800 miles a month  plus live in an area where theres plenty of tits in 1.2l corsa's who drive right up your arse! Would be constantly booting it :D

well i've ordered new front aero wipers, going to get the rear skoda one sorted tomorrow

does it have to be a type-r ariel or is it different to the standard civic ariel? found one on ebay thats from a standard civic and looks pretty much the same?

HID Conversion Kit looks great, but dont think i'll go ahead with that, are there any standard bulbs that will enhance the look instead? or is it about the same price after getting all the bulbs?

Not sure if it HAS to be the type-R one, but thats the one most people have.

My C2 one was <£4.50 delivered. Looks good IMO;

cheaper bulbs tent to blow more often , by the time you spend money on tidy bulbs you mayzwell get hids

as for ariel think its all the same for civics , also citreon C2 ariels do some searching theres loads of options

cheers, the CV2 ariel looks abit too small for my liking, will go with a civic one.

Might get the HID kit installed later in the year then in that case as its not something thats bugging me right now

When you change the ariel you will need to get a booster too, but normaly only if you have an aftermarket stereo.

i just cut the end of the OEM LCR aerial down to the rubber bit
it looks ike a type R one & no loss of reception :)
