Track rod ends aren't usually too expensive, but tie rods are so to me that sounds right.

what are the steering racks and columns like on the mk1 leons. do they wear?

mine's an '05

The inner connections on the steering rack do tend to wear which can be a pain to replace.

ive jsut done these about a week ago

dealers wont offer just the steering rack end but if your prepared to use alternative parts to genuine

i paid £49.50 for x2 trackrod ends and x1 steering rack end and one wheel speed sensor

sensor was about £20.00 so not that dear for the parts u need
