thanks for all the negative remarks, however you'l all find they started the fr in 04 but the sport carried on the sport till 06 how do i no this you'l ask well i f**king sell them!!!! Any way just had it revo'd stage 1 and dyno'd at 164bhp!!!!!!!!!

There's no need for that. We're just enquiring, as to our knowledge the information we have is correct.

Obviously if you know different, then you're right and we're wrong. No great shakes either way.

Chillout mrcupra........ where's your Christmas Cheer??

There are a fair few people on here that know what they are talking about.
I thought the line up went like this......they used to do the Sport in 100 & 130 guise. Not sure until when........then they kept the Sport name for the 100 and gave the FR name to the 130.

If it's a late registered car, then fine......you could well have a 130. You still haven't mentioned whether you have 5 or 6 (forward) gears in your box.....if it's 5, then you have the 100, simple as that.

Also, surely if you sell them it's no great shakes that you got a good price on it?? A friend of mine is sales manager at a Seat dealership and offered me £1000 off a pre-registered brand new Sport 100 - but I went for a 2nd hand 130 in the end (I didn't fancy sticking 30k miles/yr on a brand new car).

Anyway........enjoy the car!! Just out of interest how much did you pay for it?

Think we hit a nerve :D

Maybe he hasn't looked at the gearknob yet!

5 or 6 speed - simple question! If you say 6 speed (and get a pic) we'll all eat our hats!

Can i just say.

You guys were a little quick to rip into him, you've been ripped and all that, but harsh. Also surprised a lot of you did'nt know that Psorts were still be punted out well into 2005 as SEAT had a hell of a big stock pile of em once they shifted emphasis over to the FR in 2004.

Bit harsh i think. and i think i would have come back with an f and a jeff in the reply.

We did ask for some evidence to back this up and got a mouthful of abuse.

If he can show its a 130bhp Sport on an 05 plate I will eat my hat! Never seen one in 3 years of ownership! All been 5 speed 100bhp!

Not always, mine didn't have any!

Done a national Seat used car search ZERO 130pd Sports from 05.

Only 100pd Sports.

well, it seems that you can indeed get an 05 reg 130 sport

the thing is, know it all dealer boy here got diddled by another dealer

he is probably out right now trying to get a pic on his camera of an ibiza 6spd box at his local seat dealer and gonna post it up and say it's a pic of his one

stealers eh ??

That picture is a good example Kriso.

When I was buying my car I found a lot of people calling 'SE' models the Sport and so on.

As mentioned plenty of times the main way of telling it is a PD130 is the 6-Speed. :)

only paid £5000 so im not bothered but dyno'd at 164 which i dont think you can get from a 100pd!? It is a six speed but eihter way an 05 for £5000 cheap!!!
