Oh ok cool, well looking at your spec, its very similar to the direction i want to be heading in so i cant wait for the results once yours is done.

sorry to be thick but the ko3s hybrid is this about £600 to be done and with the mods somebody mentioned will that give me 280bhp??

thanks

There's plenty of threads on this too :) A lot within the last couple of weeks

You can pick up the turbo for around that money but the accompanying mods will cost you a lot more. Don't be fooled into thinking it's a cheap upgrade - it's just less hassle than other turbos as it's OE fitment.

These turbos have to work hard to produce anything above 280 BHP but it is possible with the right mods

A decent K03s is approx 230-240 bhp. Mine is 238bhp on revo stg 2 (Boost 6, Timing 6)

A sorted K03 Hybrid is gonna be 280hp +. Matner has just had his done - although is he is keeping very quiet about it for some reason !? lol

He made good bhp and torque figures at rs tuning with a custom map

never knew you wrote this back then....lol i thought it was a new thread..

u need for a ko3 hybrid 380cc injectors, 3" maf 4 bar fpr, 2wd 4 bar fule pump an if u wont to get a jbs manifold , like me , and a remap by jbs my mk3 ibiza cupra if 274 bhp on rolling road at jbs

not neccessarily so..
380cc injectors, 3bar fpr (ibiza pumps often struggle pumping 4bar +boost pressure), std manifold ported will help it flow as much as any of the hi-flow ones out there. Advise fitting an LCR pump in the tank (swap the tops)

On my dyno, they achieve from 250bhp-260bhp without WMI, then with we have got them to 283bhp recently.

sorry to bring up an old thread to go ko3 hybrid or ko3s hybrid do the rods need upgrading? sorry to be a pain as they can bend @ 300lbs of torque
