charge pipe needs a different elbow on the top of turbo joint! and cut right down!

as jack said...i had to mod the charge pipe bracket so it sits at a different angle!

a s3 DP wont fit in a million months of sundays! unless you dive your car with out a rear engine mount :)

PhilW...fuel pump is easy to change! 3 screws, dissconect a few pipes and a connector, unscrew the pump securing ring, slide out!

na, think your worrying too much! people have been on it for years mate!

i was running k04 on standard pump!

i doubt a 4bar with standard pump will run exactly the same as 3Bar and bigger pump! so you would need a tweak on the map

if it ain t broke....

Yeah very true. When i run something bigger i'll go to a walbro fuel pump anyway, so as you say, if its not broke dont fix it.

Was you running a high flow mani with the k04 and are you running a T25 flanged one now for the GT2871?

he was using the stock k04 mani iirc, big confusing about it at the time which was a laugh

that ebay kits ending later, still seems a total bargain but with a holiday coming up i dont have the cash to splash. gone off the idea now anyway. think theres more benefits to going for a direct replacement unit such as the eliminators

**** me karl you dramatic, the way i see it yeah you could chop it in and buy an evo out the box but 1. expensive car to own and run 2. ibiza has the surprise factor, which is fun 3. how long before you want to modify the evo meaning you've spent even more than your budget

we all obviously love modifying our cars so show it some love and get done, going to go GT28R when i start with sky :)

phil yea im running Garret flange, t3 i thought!? the 4 bolt hole square one!

booked in fir a custom equal length manifold in september october as thats when he is busy untill!!!

its a gt28rs

haha i aint dramatic dude, im just so indecisive i cant make up my mind, been to town in this weather and the car was more than quick enough, masses of torque steer.

its not gonna be until after October either way

yeah i had a look and they seem alright except that the ebay auction went for 480 and that also included (albeit used) the downpipe and injectors. however i'm more than gone off the k04 idea now

but cheers anyway dude

Sell it!

No, seriously. You're looking for things in a car which I don't think the Ibiza can give you. It's not just the power but the handling side of things, too.

It's all well and good chucking x amount of power at the Ibiza but if you think it handles badly now on a stock turbo, just imagine what it's going to be like with an extra 80-100hp. Traction is a big issue. I've had some real dodgy moments, mostly in the wet, where even the slightest touch of the accelerator sends the front wheels into a frenzy and that's in 3rd gear. Yes, you can make it better but at what cost....££££££

An Ibiza putting out 300+bhp would be great on the motorways but along back roads and general driving conditions etc could you really use all that power effectively? I love the idea of a big turbo but in reality I think it's wasted on the Ibiza, unless you're well into your trackdays and willing to go the whole hog making it handle, or like hammering it from 80mph up to 150mph+ in a straight line.

Only my opinion on things but I'd leave the car as it is and look to buy something which is quick out of the box as standard and that handles.

Personally, I'd like a 350Z, good power with handling to match. Failing that a Clio V6 (yes, I know they're not that fast and probably fall apart but I like 'em). Both these are still going for quite a lot of money but maybe one day I'll own one.
Never been a fan of BMW's but I can see the appeal with the M3.

yeah and only that one at the moment really, still looking at about a grand on parts minimum though, plus labour
although am keeping an eye on Jeffs post about his problems with this piece of kit

i am tempted to just leave it as is and then sell at the end of the year, however one possible replacement would be a Focus RS...and you cant seem to pick them up for less than 12-13k...double the value of the ibiza

i could get BT, ABT diff, a mint set of wheels, a better set of shocks,......the list goes on and i'd still have plenty of change to pay off me cards, a nice new mobile phone, forza 2 and colin mcrae DIRT! lol :roflmao:

lol, I dont have much money at the moment either, reckon if i did id just stfu and do it already.
wheels, kw suspension, diff, apexi boost controller, get rid of all my dents and scratches, colour code the bump strips and get a nice ihi turbo whacked on!
goodbye 6grand but heellllooooooo mama :)
