Had a little look couldn't find much info on them, is there many people running hybrid k04's? Want to no the advantages and disadvantages of them, and what power have they made? Also what mods do you run to support the hybrid? Im looking at uprated exhaust manifold and wmi.

Check put (rsmith) build thread, you can get a lot of fat info on there. In short it has not been a easy journey for him to get it working perfectly and even still he is forever tweaking.
Looking at you list of mods in your sig I'd say to add updated rods to the list as they will be on the absolute limit

Injectors, Rods and a decent exhust manifold above your current spec. I've just finished installing a ko4 hybrid on mine. 340 bhp is possible if it's well mapped.
In Germany the first Leon broke the 380 bhp with an hybrid k04. He got new cams, chipped on e85 fuel and so on

Hehe, do you use it in the UK too? In Germany many drag cars use it and mapping their ecu on it.
Sorry i have to take back my statement. I was talkin Bullsh*t. The K04 Hybrid has got 328 PS an the 380 PS was an 1.8T modded to 2.0L with a K04 TFSI Turbo.

Not many places do it.. Not run it myself.. yet
thats a more realistic number now.. Hence my tongue in cheek "rocket fuel" comment earlier..The 2283/tfsi comp wheel unit is the one I have personal experience of.. Its not 380bhp in k04 hotside of a k04-023 - 338bhp is the max we saw on wellys S3
