Hi ya,
Just hoping for some advice, posted awhile ago that my abs/traction control warning lights were coming on after afew minutes of every journey, took it to a friend who works at a local garage who plugged it into there diagnostics, it came back with the following fault codes 01130 plausible signal! 01276 abs pump mal inter & 16352 module error inter, he originally thought it was just a sensor but now seems to think its a common ABS fault-brake pressure sender/sensor switch failure witch he reckons is a massive job, and very expensive!
He also seems to think that this should be covered through seat as its a common fault, my warranty expired in feb so I'm not so sure, seat want me to book onto there diagnostics n go from there! Just to say the car drives fine and brakes aswell as ever when the warnings are on, although there traction control disables itself! Cheers for reading, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated Wayne

No mate haven't sorted it, reluctant to pay seat to diagnose it wen it's already been on the diagnostics at a friends garage, he's adamant it's the abs control module or summat like that, he's given me some info on it, it's apparently a common fault! Let me no how you get on pal!

Dealer wanted to charge me £385 (incl VAT) for new module / fitting on Friday. They contacted SEAT and because my car is an 07 they will not support any of the costs of the repair!!! I cant believe it the car has only done £44k with a full FSSH!! Will be contacting SEAT tomorrow myself - well cheesed off!!!

Abs 100% covered also Injectors

Hi
I run a 07 fr tdi abs light been on for a looooooooong time (2 years). It has the normal fault????? tcs not working ,abs is working.
Chased it through Seat customer service who advised that I have it checked at dealer.
Dealer advised that they would apply for goodwill payment.
The answer came back that 100% would be covered parts and labour.Involves new part for ABS unit and brake fluid drain.
It may have helped that there was a program on BBC which discussed this problem with ref to VW and that 100% is being paid and refunds given.
So if you have had to do this repair it might be worth chasing them.
I can not complain about Seat customer care.I have also had 100% on the Injector fault.I do not have any service history with Seat. Now @ 86,000 miles.
