Key not detected

Hi guys, I have a 2020 seat Leon FR, had it for 2 months now but suddenly it doesn’t detect that any of my keys are in the car, and I have to put the key in the emergency start slot thingy in the cup holder to get the car to start. I don’t think it’s the battery cos both keys had the battery changed the day I picked up the car, I also noticed when I try to turn the car on, the light on the key does flash red which makes it seem like the car is actually communicating with the key, but then the message comes up saying no key detected. anyone had this before and know what the fix might be? (And how expensive it could be )

I was going to say no - but just thinking now, I feel like there has been once or twice where I’ve pressed to lock/unlock and nothings happened, pressed again and it worked fine so I just assumed at the time I didn’t quite press it right.

If it was just the one key I’d be thinking maybe I got to just change the battery, but it’s the fact my spare key (which I’ve only used once) is doing the same thing, makes me think it’s some other problem
