Hi, I wonder if someone could tell me how to re-program my key. The spare key works fine but after the battery going flat in my main key it no longer works. Thanks (I mean to lock and unlock the car - it still works to start the car)
1 insert key into drivers lock and turn three times forward ( unlock ), each time holding for 1-2 seconds in the unlock position. Remove key. Warning lamp in door should flash.
2 Within 5 seconds of removing the key point it towards the interior mirror and press and hold the "close" button on the fob.
3 Press the "open" button three times then release the "close" button.
The key should now be synchronised to the car and the warning lamp in the door should flash.
You may need to do this a couple of times before it sets.
oops, forgot to tell you that if you keep button depressed it will open the windows, it will also close them when you lock the car if you keep the close button pressed..
Hi, I am having a similar problem with my 2001 Alhambra.
We've got 2 keys and when I re-sync one the other is switched off.
Is there a way of synching both?
