Hi All,

Just wondering whether anyone has been to KINGS recently for a service?

Got my 1st Service coming up in in Dec and contimplating whether to take my car to them or not?

The last time i went there i vowed nere again, however a good friend of mine now runs the service department and, so i have been told, has sorted the issues with crap service!

Just ask for Jim and say that Chris with the ibiza (his mate) sent you and im sure he will sort you out Lee

I've got the car booked in for 1st service beginning of Jan.

Also supplying my own oil .. Saves me £60 off the price of service!

You could try Pinnchbecks in Wallop.....family business and generally very helpful.

I bought my car from there and only got it serviced during its warranty. Now use JKM Performance in Pompey every time mate and they come highly recommended (literally 2 seconds down the road from Kings.... ) Their service page with prices LINK

Well i had my service done at KINGS in Portsmouth Yesterday.

Was a bit of a shaky start with me turning up and them saying that my appointment had been cancelled? Told them that i needed it done as i have driven down to the garage + taken a day off work. The guy behind the desk sorted me out and the car went in 10mins later.

After waiting for 1.5hrs the car was finished. Bit longer than i expected to wait as it was only a 1st service. They started to clean my car but i quickly advised not too as i did clean it on the sunday. Thought they might of noticed the car was gleaming

Review sheet from service showed all in good condition (as expected) apart from window wipers slightly smearing.

So apart from the hic-up with the appointment being some how cancelled. All seemed well.

I supplied my own oil which saved me over £60! For you info, the car takes 4.6 litres of oil to fill up.

At least i got that important stamp in the service book
