knock sensors...

i know i asked this a while back, but once ive replaced the knock sensors, how tight do i do them up? i assume theres no electrical earth through them? i dont want to overtighten (i love doing this!!!) as its a safety feature.

usually you do it up tight then nick it once id imagine

if you turn them to tight they might give wrong information to the ecu who will change ignition timing

why would they? they work off frequency, aint gonna be any different surely?

where are they located on the engine? on the the back of the head above the turbo?

nip em up with some loctite

front of head just next to drive belt cover and the oil filter housing.

okay i shall nip them up with some glue
