knocking in my wheelarch

theres a knocking noise sounds like its comming from the front of the car around the wheel arch pasingerside it happens when i acelerate hard and lift foot off quickly at about 2-3000 rpm thats when the noise is loudest it also happens when i put my foot down like a knocking or klunk noise

could be a number of things.
wishbone bush.
suspension top mount / strut.
wheel bearing.
driveshaft
arb
etc etc

you need to jack car up and wiggle the wheel, horizontally and vertically, does it do it one way and not the other?

ok so wheel bearing likely ok..
what if you try to lift the wheel.. is there play in the suspension top mount or strut?

not that i noticed + im prty sure its a suspention thing

Is the subframe loose?

I have no idea why it would be loose.

Just simply check the bolts are tight.

scratched head :s which bolts and where are they ?
