Knocking noise when turning left or right

I have recently replaced my wishbone bushes. Now the car has developed a knocking noise from the left suspension as i turn left or right. The noise also gets quicker with increased speed. I don't think its the arb because the knocking is in rhythm like something is catching on the wheel! Also you can hear it knock when on and off the throttle quickly, still have to be turning though it does not happen in a straight line.

I have looked through the forums but not found anyone with the same problem. Please Help

Kirkcaldy!!
could it be the cv boot/joint! Im pretty sure they make a knocking sound if there gone when turning!
have a look and see if the rubber boots are split which causes them to fail i think!

if its not right someone else will say what is it! lol

:( I had a similar noise on my Ibiza about 18 months ago.It didn't bother me that much, but when it was in getting serviced i asked them to check it out.
They reckoned it was the near side front strut top bearing making the noise.
I never bothered getting it replaced(quoted about £115 to fix it).Funny thing was,about 6 months later,the noise vanished.Never heard it since.

If it increases with speed I think its the CV joint.

Jack the car up and have a feel around the rubber gatiors. If there is black grease there is your problem.
