There is a knocking noise from the rear passenger side corner. It only happens when you go over a bump.

My other half said that if I have an anti roll bar at the back then a drop link might of broken?? Do I have an anti roll bar - not actually had a chance to look.

Is there anything else I should check??

It's defo not a suspension knock, I'm pretty certain of that, it's just really really annoying.

no rear anti roll bar... loose wheel bearing - jack car up and pull wheel about, shouldnt be any movement?

when i had a loose wheel bearing it made a c*nt of a noise always, not just over speedbumps..
Jack car up enough so wheel is off the ground
Hands holding 12 and 6 on the tye and wiggle it about
if it moves, your bearing could be loose/gone but its a gradual whining noise if the bearing has gone and a cheap fix if it is!

the only thing that ive found fo on them is the top rubbers on the shocker or the nuts are loose

my left side front does this also, is it particularly serious? it only does it if i hit a pot hole or a hole in the road or whatever..

doesnt affect the car. so i might just leave it, and if its serious, they'll spot it on the MOT in a month. if not, get our lass's dad to look at it.

my old mk2 golf had some issues, turned out some of the knocking was the
shocker mounts on the rear, piece of pie to change.. but then it was knocking some more found out it was the rear shocker, the bit where the bolt goes through at the bottom of the shock was moving over bumps and was knocking. sounded just like anti roll bar drop link but like your ibiza it didnt have an anti roll bar on the rear.

Dont worry, iirc i went and got a genuine shock for £20ish brand new. the mounts are around £5-£10 only 2 pieces of rubber.

You dont need a spring compresser on the back either just take the nut off there isnt that much tension half hour job.
