A LCR pump shouldnt need any modifying and would be fine for this. A TT or S3 pump has twin feeds becasue of the 4x4 so one needs blanking off and it might need putting in a different housing. Not sure though as I have never done it.

Yeah I need to find this out myself - I got a brand new one going cheap so had to have it ;)

EDIT - just seen Pete's post, hmm I'll have to look at the part # to see if I can determine what variant it might be

hmmm thats interesting PJ.

I actually rang Seat today. The part number they gave me for a LCR pump is 8L0 919 051 H. But ive seen B and N variants too. Maybe thats for the 4 wheel drive cars that PJ mentioned?

OK just been out to the garage to dig this out and mine is a Pierburg pump, who I think are OE providers, like Bosch? I can't find a VW part # on it but looking back over the emails from the guy I bought it from it should be from a TT

Here's a few pics:

OK so I got in contact with the guy I bought this off who sourced it from Alex when he was at TTS . After a quick phone call he seems to remember selling this as an S3 pump which will have twin feeds :(

Apparently, as PJ has said you need to block off one feed and also f**k about with the wiring too so this could be a bit of a bitch but it also seems that for ~300 BHP you don't *need* a fuel pump so I may just sell it on...

HoocH played with a few of these when he did his K04 conversion many moons ago so would be good to get his feedback on this
