KO3s turbo problem

Hey,
I have been offered a KO3s, only problem is the owner says it started making a howling noise on boost? He said there's little play in the shaft and it didn't smoke, can be refurbed.

Any clues as to what might cause this noise? And whether it can be fixed

You could send it off to CR Turbos or Turbo Dynamics to get it rebuilt.

Do you know what the howling noise is caused by?

How much for a rebuild? Might not be much point if it will cost a few bob

The howling could be the blades touching the side of the housing.

Dont know how much it would cost mate. You could just ring up the cumpanys and ask them..
