KO3s turbo

Would this be a good performance and straight forward upgrade for the standard KO3 on the 1.8T Alhambra? any issues with this swap known? all replies appreciated.

I'd think that a K03s remapped would make a 'bamma fairly spritely - you'll certainly welcome the extra torque.

Just thought it might help the wife get to the supermarket and back a bit quicker how much of a pita is a turbo swap on one of these?

So did the 1.8T Bammers come with a K03 rather than a K03S (they are 150bhp) ?

Yep they come standard with KO3 150hp.

faulty turbo charger in Alhambra 1.8T 2001

Hi!
Can somebody help me?
I need to replace my faulty turbo charger in Alhambra 1.8T 2001
Proper turbo to this model is: K03, 53-049 (5303 988 0049).
Can I use turbo K03, 53-029 (5303 988 0029) - it's from A4, Passat 1.8T.
I can't find proper one anywhere and new one is to expensive for me at the moment

PLEASE HELP!!!
