L14M H'S Black LCR - AmD Stage1, Milltek, BBS, pipercross...

I've finally found the inspiration for my car! I love what you've done with this, the colour scheme is the same as I was going for, although your red I've swapped for blue.

Is that heat shield something the previous owner made or can it be bought? If so, where from and how much?

Keep up the great work, I need to lower mine but the practicality vs stance war is tough due to where I live lol.

Thank you. Makes it all worth it hearing that. I bought it from a memeber on here who makes them his user name is 'R1TCHIE' I think?!
Mine is on springs and it rides nice and handles well. Perfect height for me being a daily.

I'll have to have a look in to the pro's and cons of just uprating springs i think... hopefully we might be moving soon so i might be able to indulge a little more. :)

Few updates, nothing major just little bits I wanted to improve,

First up was some spacers, after a lot of posting and research I decided that 17mm at the rear and 12mm at the front was the look I was after.
So ordered these from JRC rally, came with longer sized bolts from tpi.


Then I had blow out one evening. Car now has two new Kumhos on the front.

No idea what caused it though.

Bought some red wheel nut covers which I love. Makes a real difference.

Haven't got any side on pictures of the whole car.

Then bought some new bolts with red anodised washers. Tidies up the front of the bay nicely.
Also had to buy new ballast units as one failed.


Then I stumbled upon the Red and black Pipercross air filter. Was cheaper then I thought and looks and sounds amazing




Then today gave it a good wash, polish and wax





So that brings it all up to date. Any comments or suggestions welcome.

Filter looks good :) did you ask for dimensions on my rr? I think it was you, they're the same any way. Sorry I couldn't help with sizes. Really considering getting my wheels one in black, it's either black or oem but I don't know :/

Yeah I think it was yours. Went with the 80mm one, which then makes the cone the biggest they do so went with that.
I'll admit when I bought the car the first change I wanted to do was the wheel colour, but they've grown on me and I now think they suit the look of the car. Glad I didn't get them done really.

Looking good dude! Where did you get the wheel bolt caps from? And i'm interested if they do any other colours for your anodised washers?

I'm getting my wheels done Acrylic black at the end of the month... really looking forward to it. :D

Added some more of the red washer and allen bolts





Changed the AmD sticker to a red one. And sprayed my washer bottle cap. Needs redoing though as I'm not happy with the finish.

Also fitted a speedtech glass wiper blank. Hardest part was getting the old wiper off!!

Sorted my leaky doors out today. I had been putting it off since I bought the car in December '13, but actually it was really easy following the guide on here.
Now that's done, what next? I would like to change the tip to a black/red badger5 one and then the hoses to black or red forge ones.

Well this has not been updated in a while as not much has been happening really. Just keeping it clean and having some trouble free driving!! :D

As mentioned above I did my leaky doors. Decided to do all four even though only the two passenger doors were actually leaking.

Front drivers door had an effective bodge job using some kind of sealant so that door took a bit longer than all the others.

Had to remove my front windows tints as an enthusiastic colleague poitned out that they were in fact illegal. :mad:

Recently I have part 'tinted' my rear lights using some fly eye type stuff.

I'd wanted a set and wondered if they would fit, then found this pic on google!! So now I know they fit.
Having seen a set of 3sdm's on another car in here I now want those in matt black, with staggered rears. :cool:
