All,

I've got an 02 LC. A little while ago I had a 'fuel too rich' error come up from an EML warning. Suspected the MAF and replaced that yesterday, but the error still persists and the car feels lacking in power. I haven't cleared the error codes - should I need to, or should the car clear the code itself eventually if it's fixed the problem?

Assuming that doesn't fix it, it's going to be a lambda sensor - but which one? And are they easy to fix yourself?

Thanks all.

I waited until mine gave up totally as @ £89 a pop, i wasnt buying two just for the sake of it. Im sure theyl be cheaper for the LC tho. Just make sure you get a genuine one, i know there are alot of cheap copys about, as with MAF's.

Plus gas and a ring spanner. Cut the plug off and slide the ring over the wire. Mine was 22mm but thats on an LCR.

Good luck!

try kicking its head in for abit.i had a fault to do with a lambda sensor and someone told me to go give it some stick and blow the cobwebs away.it worked, cleared fault first and its never come back
