Peered into the coolant pot today and back lit it with a torch when changing the wheels around the corners. Cant see a silica bag so perhaps taken out by the previously owner.... err, or I've just missed it. Should it be obvious? I assume so...

Hello. Hope you are all well
Three months in and just 1500 miles. All good except for a mass of orange lights last week on dash… new rear wheel bearing and ABS sensor today (oof) and we are back in the game. Other than that slow puncture and some perishing on a rear Bridgestone…. I’d like to go for a set of all season Michelins but it/the others aren’t that worn and I’d prefer not to sink a load of money into it for no real need so perhaps I’ll just replace the rear pair for now with summer tyres. I note much cheaper to buy tyres incl. cross climate 18”s at 225x40r18 than 19”s and the rural roads here are in shocking condition so wouldn’t mind a set of smaller alloys second hand …. Anyone know the official wheel size 18” spec? 5x12 18 x 8j? I’ve search in here and can seem to find a definitive answer…

Oh and I’d like internally clean / new headlights to make the car shine a bit more….the internal dirt is usual on these Leon’s and new ones are pretty expensive I see. Might see what the second hand market offers and/or might try the magnet cleaning trick I saw someone do on this forum …but I’d prob lose the magnet in the light!
