Whoe !! don't use WD40 on the brakes FFS.

If they are squeeking you need to strip and clean them, then smear a small amount of copperease on the surfaces that come into contact with the caliper and that should cure it. Never ever use any oil based lubricant such as WD40 as that my get onto the brake material and contaminate it reducing the braking efficiency severely.
