Launch control

Hello,

I have a 14 plate Cupra 280, when I turn off ESP completely, put it into Cupra mode and switch it to sport, try launch it by putting my foot on the brake and one on the accelerator, it gets to about 1500rpm and won't launch, does anyone know why it would be doing this?

It needs to be in 'ESC Sport' not 'off'

Mine works on off.

In all honesty, launch control... doesn't control the launch lol, I can do better in manual.

What is the issue with lc?
You can change the revs lower if you cant handle the wheelspin.

I have DSG tune, its just not very good.

I can launch a lot better myself than L/C

Realistically 4wd or at least rwd is needed for launch control..

280+bhp through the front wheels trying to pull a car is never going to work

Launch control is pointless tbh! Makes great noises but nothing more. Can launch mine much better in manual with 456bhp don't bother with it. But you have to put your foot on the brake hard for a second for it to engage

456bhp???? What are you running, uprated turbo, inter coolers, induction, turbo back and stage 3 remap? Fuel injectors?

Uprated turbo intercooler and decat, panel filter and turbo inlet hose

Engine doesn't take much to get into silly numbers some MK7 owners are into 700's already.
