can anyone give me a breakdown of setup the Leon Cupra 1.8 20VT standard exhaust?

e.g. is there one cat or two? what are the component parts? etc.

cheers.

my model and year are shown below

runs from the engine manifold to turbo/downpipe and cat with two lambda sensors/centre section leading to backbox, pipework is approx 2 1/8th inches iirc.
If you are wondering about going for a cat back system etc, you can get the system made up with one or two boxes. one box is quite loud and two is louder than std but not over bearing.

cheers,

I'm just wondering about going for a custom exhaust to complement any ecu remap i get in the future, i defo don't want it too loud.

ive got custom and went for a 2 1/4 system with the backbox and a second box in the middle (baffle), its slightly larger diameter and is louder than std which i wanted but not saxo loud.

what did that set you back if you don't mind me asking and is it worth doing the exhaust before the remap! i can't afford both and am desperate for more power!!!!

well i already had the remap before exhaust. figures from remapped to remapped and exhaust (and silicon tip) were up over 10 bhp according to vagcom air flow readings.
mine cost around 325 inc vat from memory.

And from the side so you can see the slash cut type shape of it.
