no that i would say is more like a disconected DV sounds just like turbo stall

If its had a full system sometime after boosting the system is efficient enough to have a negative effect pressure on the exhaust causing a vacuum and then in turn spooling the turbo again. I know that most high boost Jap cars can suffer from this.

surely thats not how the new forge DV sounds is it Rich i thought it sounded more like a blow off valve than a wastegate chatter noise

sounds like an induction kit with inlet hose off and an atmopheric dumpvalve my cupra USED to sound exactly like that the induction kit chatters

Sounds terrible, WAY too much chatter/flutter, will kill the turbo in no time at all! There is no such thing as a twin piston DV, all DV's are single piston.

That car belongs to an ex-SE member down in Hayling Island.

That video was taken to show the problems he was having with the car.
It's was NOT right - it was running very badly (which was why the video was taken I think)

I believe it was soon looked into and fixed.

was talking to a guy last night who i know who shws a escort cosworth hes DV chatters like hell. tried it on another car that has a DV and the cossie DV does it on this car too, it was a bailey dv26. think its a faulty one.

Sorry for the late reply, but that is a vid of my car. It was taken to show the noise because the Forge DV relocation kit had been fitted incorrectly! At the time I had a Forge 007p and BMC CDA CAI. The wrong pipe had been blocked off!
