I was behind a Platinum LCR in Manchester last week and I'm sure the owner had sprayed the black rear diffuser (bottom of bumper) the same colour as the car!

Has anyone else done this? Do you think it looks good?!

i prefer it in black to be honest.............. i'd love it in carbon fibre though! to me it would look too similar to a normal cupra bumper colour coded.

yeh, black defo, if it was like the golf and was the whole lower half i would spray mine then, but as said its nice black, but carbon would look real good! mate does carbon weave, might have a word with him!

I love the black bit! Not just on this car, but on others too. Some later TT's have a black section similar to the LCR and I think it sets the rear end off nicely.

Obviously it comes down to personal preference, so there is no reason why it can't be painted. Should be easy to Photoshop if you're handy with that?

Anyone good with Photoshop lol!?

Any idea wether it's removeable or whether its part of the bumper!? Unfortunately I've got a scratch on mine :(...Wonder how much SEAT would charge for a replacement?

Does this part of the bumper we are on about detach from the main bumper or is it moulded in i had a peak underneath the other day and there are plenty of fastners on it but wasn't sure if this held the bottom half of the bumper in place. I have been in talks with a guy about carbon fibre bits but the carbon they make is F1 grade so very strong but has a nice price tag to go with it as i was tryin to get a front splitter made but he said to make the splitter cover its self i would need to get atleast 15-20 ppl on board cheers.

I would love to have a carbon one in a slatted DTM form, i thought it came out and had intended on chopping a spare one around but i dont think you can get that bit on its own
