LCR slightly embarrest

My girlfriend has a quicker car than me 
She has a full race prepped Mini (Original) that she built herself. (Fitting some MASSIVE K.A.D Brakes to it this weekend in fact) Unless its long sweeping A roads or Motorway, i just cant keep up. That thing does 0-60 in like 5 seconds (Cut slicks, Diff etc...) and handles like a go kart. Its not fair. lol

As petty and childish as it is, I was grinning like I'd eaten a bucket of sh1t the other day.
My ex, my most recent one (was with her 4 yrs) has a new boyfriend who is a Vauxhall fanboy. He's had such memorable cars as: NOVA 1.2, CORSA 1.2, CALIBRA V6 and most recently, an Astra Coupe Turbo Bertone thing. This is a 2.0T right? Either way... I murdered it last night So cool to see my ex and her ginger boyfriend get utterly broken by my silky 1.8T

Yes, it sure is stiff, if its long journeys or shopping, we take the VRS, but if we want to embarase some spotty RS Turbo/Saxo VTS owners we take the Mini for a Spin. Again, its the priceless expression on their faces when a girl in a "Toy Car" destroys em that makes it so funny. lol. She does loads of track days etc and can really drive, so its funny watching em struggle to keep up, lol.

i did my neighbours fiesta st in my toledo 2.3 v5, god only knows what i would do to it in the lcr. suffice to say it wouldnt be a fair race, 75bhp is a heck of a lot...

i do a few boy racers at the local Krispy Kreme meet in my mk2 ibiza cupra and then they are left guessing what my car is!
only once did i stop racing when it was an ST, lupo gti and me ...and then a Astra or Corsa VXR came from nowhere ...caught up ...and smoked us all, i called it quits and went to bed. them things are fast!

Yes a LCR will smoke an ST what im saying is the one in this area is turbo'd with a host of other mods pushing out a claimed 280bhp, now to me that = a very good race
a 280BHP Fiesta ST would be considerably faster than both the Focus ST, the Astra VXR and the LCR.. by some margin. Of course, mods taken into account it's all relative. Money is the only constraint in this stuff..
Seems a tad pointless though. That ST would of been under warantee still. Must have more money than sense. Personally would of taken a Fiesta RS Turbo to 300+BHP for less cash, or alternatively gone for a Saph Cos or Focus ST/RS. Each to their own, I suppose.
