LCR Splitter

Just out of interest, as i have removed my first LCR splitter last night (damn curb). I was just wondering how many you have removed and if its on anything more exciting then what removed mine on.

None yet but had a few scrapes in car parks. Only cheap so I guess they are just something you replace every so often.

£16 from seat just brought one lol, you have to love the way they sell for £30+ on ebay!!

Our lass is very careful so still on our first (with a couple of scrapes)

Re ebay, you have to look hard to find a bargin now, I oftn see things go for more than RRP????

Scraped mine quite a few times, but it's still in one piece and attached to the car

It's funny really, as when I got my LCR I looked at the splitter and thought it would be really nice to find an aftermarket one in carbon fibre, as I think it would look seriously smart.

But after the 99th scrape on a speed bump or getting in and out of multi-story car parks, I've decided the plastic is just fine

mine dropped off due to strong wind on the way to york, i got the screw holes there for the new one so when i put it on will i have to use bigger self tappers now or is there another way

A fox did my splitter, but it didn't come off completely, and the fox was already in the road from being hit by someone else. I was probably doing 60.
The splitter before that got pretty scraped so I replaced it because it was making the car look scruffy.

im still on my 1st splitter, had it on about 6months, i did get stuck in a car park down in Brighton Habour back in Feb 2006 because of how stupid some people park!!!
i scraped the underneath of the drivers side skirt - I was not impressed!!

I had ago at taking mine off the other day as i cant even get on my girlfriends drive now shes lowered but the bast*** thing wouldnt come off where exactly are all the 'hidden' screws or is there just a 'knack' to removing it?

On the R it is clipped on, I think it comes off by pulling down on the three centre posts and then towards you as you looks at the front of the car.
That was the opposite of what I had to do to relocate mine.
