LCR Splitter

hello people....

Speaking from no experience, how hard is it to fit an LCR splitter to a MK 5 facelift ibiza? the front's quite squareish' will it even fit?

quite hard as you need to stretch it about and the front will never line up, the splitter has a dip in it that doesn't match the front bumpers lines, which for me makes it a terrible looking mod and the absolute definition of just sticking bits of plastic to your car.

Has only ever worked once, on an FR (proper FR, not new "FR") bumper when proper time and care was taken to bend it properly to fit.
Only works on the FR bumper because the flat spot in the middle of the FR bumper grill lines up with the dip section of the LCR splitter. On the other bumpers nothing lines up, it just looks like a piece of plastic from a different car tacked on and looks awful.

Here's mine

The guys are right only properly works on an pre facelift mk5 FR Ibiza
But personally The Boc looks better with one than without, plus it helps to spray it gloss black so it blends in with the rest of the front

Fitting it you need alot of self tapping screws and some strong glue
Plus a hairdryer or something coz it needs to be shaped slightly

Also make sure there's two of you doing it, makes it alot easier

I have the limited edition bumper ( I think it's called ) :/ lol

I've got a splitter for it, hopefully get it on this week or next, will put picks up if it looks decent, and if it doesn't I'll take it off
