Hi All.
Last night I thought I'd check my tyre pressures. Last month I had a flat tyre thanks to a wayward screw DIRECTLY in the middle of it and sadly I didn't notice until it was too late, Thankfully the only thing ruined was the tyre itself.
Ever since I've been super paranoid and I keep getting out of the car to look at the tyres to make sure it bothers me that much. They seem fine, they look a little compressed but coming from a Ibiza Cupra with Toyos that was the norm.
Hooked it up to the machine last night after driving about... 1 mile at 50-70mph (To warm the tyres up a tiny little bit) hooked it up to the machine
First tyre reads 23, Second 24, third 10... 4th 24...
I find it strange that they all read around the 23-25 region especially considering as the fuel cap says 33PSI unloaded (Or with minimal load)
What are your tyres reading at the moment? Does the it vary this much in the weather?
What should the LCR's be, should it be 33 like it says on the fuel cap?
I'm running stock tyres and I'm starting to wonder if someones f***ing with my car maybe intentionally placing sharp objects or letting the tyres down at night.
It wouldn't suprise me the scum I live near...
I had the machine checked by a random passer by and his read perfectly so I'm "Pretty" sure its not the machine but you can never be 100%

Hence why you are supposed to measure your tyre pressures when the tyres are cold so that you can be consistently sure about the pressure.
