I looked at the LSD but have opted not to even though I am planning to do lots of track stuff I need suspension first. Done 1 this year and got one planned in Dec... I am going for FSD's with Eibach to avoid to much lowering etc... also got a great deal.

Where are you tracking her Darth?

Bruce

Have done Coombe (Gloucestershire) earlier this year, fast and open, ok intuctor

Then Lydden Hill (Kent) with some of the SCN crew, excellent day despite heavy rain at times. Track is very tight however with limited run off. Very heavy on the brakes. Excellent intructor

I've now got Oulton Park booked for Nov and Brands Hatch Indy booked for Dec. Some of the northern SCN boys are in for OP so should be a good day

I'm hoping to have turbo developments in place for both the above [B)]

Ben

Fair play, you might also want to look at the Koni/Eibach combo which I don't think has much of a drop and appears to be getting rave reviews from some of Awesome's customers

That sounds cool mate I have done Bedford Autodrome in August and am back there in December with my brother and a couple of friends.... Not tried the tight tracks.

I did Brands in my old Astra and the Indy circuit is awesome you will love it a very good day. Did 4 in my Astra planning to do a lot more in the R. Will have to get to Coombe myself it is open not a big fan of tight tracks they scare me!!! :) May be catch you at a track day sometime next year. :D

I've not done Bedford yet mate but hear it's an excellent track so that will be on the list for 2007

Lydden (tight) was fine as it was all the SCN boys in a group, no one drove like a tit and everyone was respectful of each others cars and space which was :coolthumb You just need to have respect for the track and modify speed accordingly

If your doing any days next year PM me and I'll see if it's one I'm intersted in. I tend to book early though via http://www.easytrack.co.uk/homepage.asp as they're cheap (£100) if you book early but price rises closer to the event

is that springs and dampeners the koni eibach combi

Koni dampers and Eibach springs I believe mate, check with Awesome as they will be able to confirm

I "competed" against a mate at a Track day at Curborough - mine a Revo'd R his a Bluefin/race cat tuned RS. Over the five "double lap" runs, I finished a total of 5 seconds ahead of him. On one practice, I was 4 seconds quicker!!
