i have read the leaking door seals post and know what needs to be done to fix, but i have a question

i have made sure that the seals under the doors are clear from dirt, so the excess water can flow.

i thought id do this 1st and see if it cures my problem.

it doesnt, i still have water coming through the inner door panel.

so my qiestion is if i seal this inner door seal, where will the water go, will it get stored in the door or will it get pushed through the holes i cleared.

im just worried if i seal the inner panel my doors may fill with water

the bottom door seals did seam really tight and they werent that dirty.

yes the holes in the doors are for draining the water inside the door.

Water runs down inside of the door, and out via the holes at the bottom.

The seals for the door card parish over time so the water runs down inside of the door and door card and leaks down the outside of the door (but inside the car).

If you re0do the seal correctly as per instructions you should not have any more water leaking into the car cabin, all water should drain out of the holes at the bottom of the door.

so far i've only done part one of the guide to sort the doors, this is to ensure that the holes at the bottom of the door are clear from dirt.

the second part ... silicone sealing the inner door frame is yet to be done.

the reason i did not do this straight away was to make sure the water was draining out the bottom holes correctly.

if i now silicone seal the inner case, and there is an issue with the holes at the bottom of the door, my door will hold water!!!!!

that will really make a mess of things.

the bottom seals have been cleared but i'm just a bit worried that the water may not release through these!!!!!
