Right,

I've got leather from a golf vr6, the front seat, not a problem fitting.

But having slight problem with the back.

Has anyone fitted these before? Any info would be cool!

Basically, the back bench with the headreast on, doesnt fit properly. Ive taken the middle mounting that used to hold the old seat in out. And still cant seem to get them in.

Cheers

there was a guy james on here had vr6 vento leathers. if he see's this he might be able to help you.

if hes on msn anytime il let him see the thread mate miby he can shine some light

This would be the dude that i got the leather from.

Vento then, what is a vento? some sort of salloon?

He crashed it!!!

And now has a Civic 1.6 which he has started doing a few things to.

I got my coilover from james too, was gunna get the wheels but decided agaisnt it as i though it had already been done by someone else. Plus its winter and polished rims would get ruined.

So they are from a Golf sallon(mk3?)

Should fit with some modification?

Yeah this is what me thought! But i spoke to him last night and he never got them fitted correctly in his. Said something about bending/cutting a mount/bracket...

his was nice, hes still trying to sell me his engine
he told me someone had bought his coilovers and seats, after i told him i didnt need em, lol never knew it was u, small world!

im guessing that was the guy with the cream leathers? They looked the NUTS!!! get um fitted and get some pics up for us again! :-o

Yeah, i've known james for a while.

Infact, he is going to hate me for this, i knew him when he had a combat kitted corsa:whistle:

There not cream, they are grey. Like i said, fronts go straight in. But the backs are causing me some problem. So im guessing no one else has fitted these to a mk2?

Hi mate i bought my ibiza gti seat from a guy that had em fitted in a mk3 golf.

All you need to do is swap your rear seats metal back plate off and attach the rear seat cusions form the golf/vento onto your backing plate, then they will fit.

the bases just hook over the frames after you pull your cushions off.
