LED Fog Lights on Prefacelift Leon

Has anyone been able to retrofit the LED fog lights from the facelift Leon 5F on a prefacelift model? They look pretty similar in shape but obviously the bumpers are a bit different.

I’m interested because the halogen bulb makes them look horrendous, but I feel like just changing the bulb to LED won’t make them look much better.

We've got both cars and the lights look a completely different shape to me.

I've changed to white LED bulbs in both my previous 64 plate preFL and current 19 plate FL. Although there were no errors, I did recode for LED bulbs, and they do look so much better. H8 bulbs needed. Before and after pics here
