Led headlight (H7) bulbs?

As the topic says... Has anyone ever tried LED headlight (H7) bulbs?
They're available from Hids-direct for around £30 but was dubious of what they will look like and how good of a light output they will have? Surely they will give off the same beam pattern?

Any advice?

That was my initial thought. That's why I asked.
Would love to see what they do look like but don't think I'll be trying them.

Iv just looked on you tube and there are a number of videos on the of people comparing led to halogen bulbs, the one I like looks quite decent

They do look decent. Just still not sure if it's worth the risk

I know what u mean, iv searched the web and the h7 led bulbs seem to be for fog lights

Will these LED bulbs throw up an error on the dash as they are drawing less power leading the VAGCOMS to think the bulb is broken?? Maybe consider Osram nightbreakers not cheap but seem good on my friends family bus (Zafira)

I have the osram nightbreakers and can't fault them at all.
If your going to go for LED's then you need to get canbus error free bulbs. Bit more pricey but worth it.

I'm not really sold on LED's as even when I've paid the extra money they always seem to throw up a canbus error, toyed withe the idea of HID's but not sure yet
