Right I bought Osram Nightbreakers pluses for main, side and fogs and the difference to standard bulbs where massive however I have put LED's in my side lights now and there so much whiter (I know osrams aren't that white) and now want the rest of my bulbs white. What bulbs would you lot recommended that are similar colours...

I don't think I have ever seen a halogen bulb that is as white as the LED sidelights. They say M-TECs are very white, but I cannot confirm that since I haven't tried them. Remember, though, the whiter they are, the worse light output they'll have.

Illegal or not, I've never actually heard of 100W halogen bulbs before. Are there 100W H1 bulbs? I'd buy some for my high beams if they are since they sound awesome. Would they give errors, though?

They are but cheaper than hids but not sure if they'd give errors. Its best to wire them through a relay though so not to damage wiring

100w wont give any errors and there not exactly illegal as in you cant buy them, but they are supposed to just be for off road use, ie. a rally car etc.

I have 100w in my fogs (cornering fog light use) to match my xenons, not a perfect match but much whiter than before, and they were a cheap set off ebay.

But there are loads of places that will do them and there are loads of different types (some even more than 100w mwhwhaahwhhaaaaa! :))

and all this after a 2 min google search

Thank you very much, Graham. So they won't mess up my wires, right? I'll be buying a H1 set.

nothing with errors or wiring or anything. The only thing is is they are 100W rather than 35W, so they're more powerful. Thats it. I'd read before that there may be a slight possibility of the lenses melting with 100W bulbs don't hold me to it.

Lol I am sure you will be fine and if it for your main beams only then its not like their on all the tine. As above no wires to mess up just a direct replacement bulb

ive just put some hid's in, ive got the addaptor things to stop the error light coming on, and the pasenger headlight works a treat but the drivers wont turn on at all and is still displaying the 'bulb out' light, any ideas why? its a 57plate fr if that makes a difference at all? cheers

Cheers mate, that did cross my mind tbh.ive just swapped the two ballasts over, to try the dodgey one on the side that I know works and still nothing so I'm guessing the ballast itself has gone?does that sound plausible?or is there something I'm missing?cheers Matt.

My bulbs are the standard factory ones....i can see perfectly well at night with them....cant see why people would want to change them
