Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows if the headlights out of a 2017, 2020 leon will fit in a 2016 leon 3 door fr, many thanks for any replies
 
Facelift? Sure ita possible but a ball ache, iv read a few threads on here before about it

working on the logic of filament>LED in general, i think you may find there will be a fair bit more involved than just the units themselves.
 
Assuming you've already got LED headlights fitted, yes it's possible.
However, you'll need to replace both headlights, the bumper and bonnet, and also make some changes to the support brackets.
That alone is already thousands and doesn't take into consideration any wiring or coding.

I'm sure the bumper and bonnet on facelift and pre-facelift cars are the same as far as the headlamps are concerned, although the foglamp apertures may be different, and that the headlamps are the same physical shape/dimensions?
 
Someone did exactly that on here, fitted a facelift headlight into a pre facelift car, but obviously it didn't work.

The bonnet? No changes to the bonnet or any other metal panels that I can see.

I don't know why you would want to do this swap anyway? The difference between the lights is not that great.

Check out the pictures in here, he FL light doesn't sit correct due to the slight shape difference.
